Welcome to Buildings

In a country reminiscent of the Dickensian era, buildings offer a unique perspective into this rapidly changing world where the seemingly old and the fabricated new, the rusting poor and the glossy rich reside within a door step of each other. The infrastructure of east coast China has morphed at such a rate that it dizzies the imagination, and in this world where the ideals of antiquity hold little value, one wonders just how long the past will remain alive in the walls of the city. A favored textile of many, tiled roofs hold strong, unchanged under the weathering skies and grass that grows amongst the gaps.
